Intimate Wedding at Lakeview Weddings- Bree & Evan Wisely

What a dream day these two had despite how they had to shift their big day! From the first time Bree emailed me, I knew I wanted to work with Bree and Evan. We have just clicked and that is such a blessing from my perspective. They are just the sweetest and most genuine couple I could ask for.

This wedding was so different from the norm but I think that is what made it so special. Bree and Evan were forced to cut their guest list to only their very closest family due to the current Illinois social restrictions. And as hard as that decision must have been to make, I think it speaks volumes to their love for each other. They didn’t let anything get in the way of them starting their forever, and I admire that.

From the time I arrived, I could just feel the happiness from not only Bree and Evan but also a big, happy blended family! Everyone was beaming with smiles and I think Bree’s dad had us all in tears just about all day with his heartfelt statements, first look, and emotions. Then of course I kind of knew to expect a pretty wholehearted reaction from Evan when he first saw his Bride. It was as you can see, one for the books. These two just love deeply for each other and I don’t think anyone can deny it!

The whole day was relaxed and the couple was surrounded by those who love them most. The owners of Lakeview weddings, Ted and Sara, graciously allowed the couple and family to have a small dinner and some dances since the large reception was forced to be cancelled. It was perfect. At sunset we were able to take our time and wonder around the beautiful Lakeview property for some intimate portrait time with the couple. We just had fun and enjoyed our time together. Covid-19 sure threw a loop in their plans but I think you can see that it made zero difference in the love these two have for each other, and at the end of the day that is truly what matters.
